New Beginnings

Molly

Just wanted to give you an update as to how Molly (aka Thelma) is doing.  Each day she is getting more and more comfortable with her surroundings.  She snuggles with Rudy now and enjoys playing with the kids.  She is a quick learner and now understands how to walk on a leash. Rudy is a puppy renewed with the help of Molly, and Molly is learning doggie manners with the help of Rudy. As you can see in the pictures he is very happy and smiling. We are truely blessed to have such a wonderful young lady to add to our family.  Thank you again and have a very Joyous Holiday and a prosperous New Year.

Clyde

clydeWe would like to thank Compassionate Pug Rescue for blessing our family with its newest member, Clyde.  He has made the most amazing addition to our family and has adjusted to all of us seamlessly.  He is such pleasure and a gift in all our lives.  We cannot thank you enough for bringing Clyde into our family!

Baby

babyHi Everyone! My name is Baby and no I’m not a Pug. That didn’t stop Compassionate Pug Rescue from saving me from death row on August 11, 2007. That’s right I was going to be put down for no other reason than overcrowding! 🙁

My new Dad told my Mom that he didn’t want a dog, so my Mom had to pull a fast one to save me. She told him that she needed some milk and was going to run to Publix and she would be right back. Well, she came back three hours later with me! My Mom knew my Dad wouldn’t be mad and it took him 30 seconds to fall in love with me too. Now my Dad kisses me, hugs me, and loves me as much as my Mom.

Hank

hankOnce again Marcia called needing a place for Hank to stay for 2 weeks while his foster family went on vacation.  The kids and I were taking a break from fostering after having pug puppies here because we needed our house to get back to some sort of “normalcy” and Jr was acting out.  But of course I said yes, I am a sucker for pugs and Hank was soooo sick and needed a place to rest.

So in walks Hank full of every worm imaginable, emaciated, disc problems, spondylosis, timid, and snorting and snoring louder than even my father.  Zoey and Jr weren’t thrilled and Tuzak thought he was his own personal bowling ball rolling him down the hallway, grabbing him with his mouth and pulling him back up, licking his eyes and face to death – problem being Hank had to be kept “quiet” while recovering from his severe heartworm.  Yikes what did I get myself into?
