New Beginnings

Layla

laylaHere is a photo of our beautiful little Layla with her new dress.  She is such a sweet little girl who we are so happy to have in our family.  Layla loves to go for walks with us and snuggles right in with us at night.  We have already had professional portraits done of her!  We will soon be taking her to our Michigan home where she will also be loved by grandma, aunts and uncles, and some cousin dogs.  She has a cute pink sweater and coat to wear in Michigan as it is already cold there!

We are so thankful to Compassionate Pug Rescue for all that you have done for Layla to help her become healthy again and for letting us adopt her.  She is our little angel that makes our family complete!

Eddie

eddieEddie is about 11 years old and was a stray in Dade County. Someone took good care of him because he is a very well-behaved gentleman.

We are now the proud parents of 2 senior pugs (10+ years of age) from CPR. They are full of love and joy, and they still have a lot of puppy in both of them.  The most important times of day for them are mealtime and nap time, in that order. We are blessed to have Eddie – he is a perfect addition to our family!

Bacon

baconWe would like to take the time to say thank you for the wonderful job you guys did with Bacon. She was a member of our family within the first few seconds we saw her, and we never could have given her the wonderful and healthy life she has now without your help. As a senior pug, we were concerned about her health issues, and her ability to live an active life.

Once she received help with her medical disabilities, and were able to tend her back to health, she has been nothing but a re-found puppy. We try not to think of the pain and suffering she dealt with before coming into rescue.

Joey

joeyI can’t begin to thank you enough for bringing Joey into our lives. He and Suki, our other pug, act as if they’ve lived together forever and he’s wonderful with my children. He is definitely the typical pug: sweet natured, mellow and a little chubby! Well, we’re working on that last one!

Joey seems very happy at home with us and we take him out to the park, the pet store and car rides a lot. He loves the attention he gets from everyone (they always notice his long tongue!).

Again, thank you to everyone at CPR for the wonderful things you do for needy pugs.
