Luli

luliBrittany (now “Luli”) is the sweetest, most loving little girl in the world! This first week with her has been the happiest we’ve had in what seems like a very long time. Thank you, thank you!!! for letting us adopt her. The kids keep telling me it feels like Christmas every day,and it really does!! Thank you again, for the joy she’s bringing us.

Now let me tell you about our baby girl. Sunday we registered her for the training classes at PetSmart, she starts next Sunday at 3pm. I’m sure it’s going to be fun for all of us.  Luli has also befriended Blackie (the calico) and they play every morning and afternoon.  When the kids come home from school we take her for a walk through the back street.  Baby girl has a wonderful temperament, she’s obedient, affectionate, calm, happy and playful! Thank you for allowing us to adopt her.

Eternally grateful,

Carmen & family

Napoleon

napoleonAfter we went through the pain of watching our beloved pug, Darcy, deteriorate through her final illness, I decided that I would not get another pug because I did not want to face having to again say goodbye.  My wife convinced me, however, that I could not really live without a pug in my life, and so, after we sadly said goodbye to Darcy, I contacted CPR.

We wound up adopting Napoleon, who is the sweetest most gentle dog one could ever want. We immediately fell in love with him.  He loves our early morning pre sunrise beach walks off leash, and from the first night we had him he slept on our bed through the night.

He learned within 15 minutes to use our dog door so he can play in our walled in back yard with our Yorkie-Poo, with whom he is getting along just great.

We want to express our gratitude to CPR for giving us the opportunity to be able to give Napoleon a forever home, and to share our lives with this wonderful pug.

Vader

vaderI just wanted to give you another update on Vader…especially now that he is all settled in and that he is 7 months old today!

My other two have accepted him and love him.  He is sooooo sweet.  He is very affectionate and will not go anywhere unless I am there with him.  (Even when he eats I have to sit next to him).  He is a good boy and always lets us know when he has to potty.  He will scratch at the back door, very cute!  Every night he has to sleep in my arms…not my lap, but my arms…like a baby! It’s very cute, but I have to admit that for being so small, he sure snores louder than my other two!

His sharp nails are no longer an issue.  I was going to order those nail covers for him, but after three days of walking outside on a leash, they are smooth and short.  (Makes me think he never went on leash walks…he wasn’t good with walking on a leash at first, but now he is a natural!)

I was worried at first about getting another pug, but now that I have Vader, I can’t see it any other way. I’m just so glad I found him.

Thank you.

Courtney, Brian and the Pugs!

Chloe

chloeChloe is a bundle of joy. She loves to cuddle and play. She loved us from day one sleeping in our laps and kissing our faces. Chloe came to us at the perfect time. After we lost our beloved bulldog, we chose to adopt. When we needed love the most Chloe was there to give us unconditional love from the moment we met.

Chloe also has a new brother Snorkel the papillion. They are so cute together. She follows him everywhere wanting to always play or see what he is up to.

We can’t thank everyone involved in Chloe’s adoption process. She is a blessing and somehow I know she was already in the plan for our family before we ever met her.

Love,

Steven, Lisa, Snorkel and Chloe
