New Beginnings

Roscoe

roscoeHi this is Roscoe writing to let you know how wonderful I am doing with my new family. My two dads and 3 sisters love me and have made me feel right at home. I get to go on daily outings to the local dog park where I love to run and play with my siblings and all of my new friends. .My dads compliment me all the time on how well behaved I am. They take me a lot of places including the store and yesterday I went up to meet my new grandparents it has been great! Thank you to all the people at Compassionate Pug Rescue who took me of the streets and took wonderful care of me till you were able to find me a loving family and a forever home. Lots of love and pug hugs……Roscoe

Diddy

diddyHi everyone in CPR land!  It’s me, Diddy!  Just wanted to say hello and let you know I’m doing very well.  I went to the vet today and guess what?  I have no more lump.  I’m also in great health, except I have allergies and been licking my paws.  My family thought I got something in my paw but I didn’t.

I really love it here.  I go to the park for walks everyday with my mom and dad.  I play and sleep with my pug sister too.  I love to lie on my dad when he’s watching TV and lie on my mom when she’s working.

Here are some pictures of me.  I want to thank you for all you do and for my new family!

Love you always,

Diddy (and my humans Marybeth and Kevin Hrim)

Luli

luliBrittany (now “Luli”) is the sweetest, most loving little girl in the world! This first week with her has been the happiest we’ve had in what seems like a very long time. Thank you, thank you!!! for letting us adopt her. The kids keep telling me it feels like Christmas every day,and it really does!! Thank you again, for the joy she’s bringing us.

Now let me tell you about our baby girl. Sunday we registered her for the training classes at PetSmart, she starts next Sunday at 3pm. I’m sure it’s going to be fun for all of us.  Luli has also befriended Blackie (the calico) and they play every morning and afternoon.  When the kids come home from school we take her for a walk through the back street.  Baby girl has a wonderful temperament, she’s obedient, affectionate, calm, happy and playful! Thank you for allowing us to adopt her.

Eternally grateful,

Carmen & family

Napoleon

napoleonAfter we went through the pain of watching our beloved pug, Darcy, deteriorate through her final illness, I decided that I would not get another pug because I did not want to face having to again say goodbye.  My wife convinced me, however, that I could not really live without a pug in my life, and so, after we sadly said goodbye to Darcy, I contacted CPR.

We wound up adopting Napoleon, who is the sweetest most gentle dog one could ever want. We immediately fell in love with him.  He loves our early morning pre sunrise beach walks off leash, and from the first night we had him he slept on our bed through the night.

He learned within 15 minutes to use our dog door so he can play in our walled in back yard with our Yorkie-Poo, with whom he is getting along just great.

We want to express our gratitude to CPR for giving us the opportunity to be able to give Napoleon a forever home, and to share our lives with this wonderful pug.
