Happy Gotcha Day Zilly!
How Zilly (the “un-pug”) came to CPR…
Zilly was surrendered to the local shelter just as Hurricane Irma was nearing Florida. CPR received notification that a puggle (pug/beagle mix) had been surrendered and we were asked if we would be interested in taking her as there were over 40 surrenders to that shelter that day alone! We were told that she was young, healthy, spayed and friendly so of course we said Yes! A volunteer picked up Zilly from the shelter and took her home. We quickly learned that Zilly was exactly what they said she was – except that she wasn’t a pug or pug mix at all! She quickly won everyone’s hearts and there was no way that we would be taking her back to the shelter! Zilly had a great time with her foster family but she was ready for her own home. She met a great family at the Countdown 2 Zero Adoption event at the Palm Beach Convention center and the rest, as they say, is history! Here Zilly is with her new forever family! We guess some things are just meant to be! …
Congratulations Zilly!!!! We hope you have a long, healthy, happy life! Xoxo
