Mimi

mimiMatthew, Harley, and I can not thank Compassionate Pug Rescue enough!  We all love our Mimi!  She is the perfect addition to our family.  It is very hard to believe what she had endured in the puppy mill that almost killed her!  Mimi is the most loving, playful, fun little girl that we have ever seen.  She brings a smile to our faces every day!  Thank you to Marcia for saving our Mimi’s life!  Without you Mimi would not be a part of our family.

Thank you for not giving up on our little girl!  You and Compassionate Pug Rescue are the BEST!!!  Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!  We love you!!!!!!

Sincerely,

Matthew, Laura, Harley, and Mimi

Muffin

muffinThank-you so much to Compassionate Pug Rescue and surrogate mommy Melissa for saving Mommy Munchie and little Muffin and the other puppies. Thanks to you, we feel so blessed to receive a beautiful little puppy that has been loved and nurtured from day one with good care and lots of love.

Thanks for the these caring efforts, The Mihm Family was able to find the sweetest, most loving, spirited little dog that we all cater to and enjoy and love so dearly. We feel so blessed to have Muffin , and we bet that she feels blessed, too. She just this busy little, love-filled sprite, always happy and filled with joy. We are so privileged to have such a bundle of happy energy in our house. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!

Miley

mileyWanted to keep in touch with you and say Thank You again for all of your help and for bringing Miley into our lives.  We are so blessed to have found this dog.  She is doing so well.  She is so playful, loving and snuggly.  She is getting so much attention and love.  My 3 year old calls her “my princess”.  My daughter has taken such responsibility in getting her water, food (with supervision of course, or she would be 50 pounds already) and in walking her.  We are just so delighted to have her.  She is such a DOLL! What a perfect match!

Thanks!

Baby Girl

baby-girlJessie and Jeff Thompson were introduced to Marcia early in 2008 by an interested third party pug lover. They had spoken many times about adoption since they had the perfect large fenced and walled yard for dogs. The Thompsons at this point had a pug, Lucy Liu, a Jack Russell, Daisy, and two Bassetts Bailey and Cody. Cody had been adopted so they were aware of what it is like to adopt a formerly mistreated animal. Marcia had recommended that Jessie and Jeff look at a new member of Compassionate Pug Rescue, a beautiful little girl named Baby Girl.

On April 23, Jessie and Jeff lost their precious Jack Russell Daisy at the age of 11 to bladder cancer. Grief stricken for weeks they entertained adoption of a pug and spoke to Marcia about Baby Girl. She was brought over to the Thompson house for an introductory visit and to meet her potential three new sisters. It was love at first sight for everyone and two weeks later Baby Girl became a Thompson. Jessie and Jeff had her palate corrected and her nasal passage widened surgically so she can now play pretty hard with her three sisters and is very very happy at her new forever home. She sleeps on the bed every night – loves all her new toys – can now breathe just like a regular pug – has put on weight enjoying all new food and is absolutely one of the best things Jessie and Jeff ever did for themselves. They thank Compassionate Pug Rescue for giving them their wonderful new pug- baby Girl!
