Milo

miloHello.  My name is Milo …sometimes people call me Mister Milo … although I’m not sure why ‘cause my mommy says that I’m still a little baby!  I just wanted to say thanks to everyone at CPR for taking such good care of me and for placing me in such a great home.  I love my new family … I even have two big brothers.  One is a little spoiled, but the other one is a rescue pug, just like me!  They’ve been showing me the ropes and taking care of me while mommy is at work.  They are fun to play with, but sometimes I have more energy than they do, so mommy usually takes me on extra walks all by myself to ‘tire me out’!  I don’t mind, because it just means more ‘mommy and me’ time!  I’m still trying to remember to only go potty outside and not chew anymore on what I’m told is mommy’s new furniture!  But I give lots of kisses, so at the end of the day, that makes everything okay! I hope all my foster brothers and sisters don’t forget about me … I will look out for you at the meetups! I also want to send kisses to my foster mommy Jennifer…. You will always have a special place in my little heart!

Tommy

tommyTommy has taken very quickly to his new home and family. In fact he stands proudly at any entrance to greet all passers by, just in case a petting hand should come his way. Tommy is another success story thanks to the wonderful work at the Miami Pug Rescue, thanks CPR for all your help and such a wonderful cause!

Maggie

maggieWe want to introduce ourselves to everyone looking in on us and many other fortunate pugs who were blessed by God to be taken in, given medical care, loved a barrel full, and given new homes by the “Angels” at CPR.

We are Henry (aka Tommy) and Maggie (aka Angel). We are both from Miami as we have been told.

I (Henry) was found by Animal Control, dodging cars, unfriendly people, and just having an all around bad beginning to my short life. I was suffering from a very bad case of demodex mange, pretty skinny, and pretty afraid of people’s hands. But CPR came to my rescue. I was off to a wonderful foster home in Miami with my new foster Dad Ken who took great care of me. OK, Maggie it is your turn.

Bunnie

bunnieDear CPR,

On behalf of my new family and myself, I wish to thank you and all of the volunteers at CPR for placing me in my new home.  Thanks to your compassion and your monetary support I was able to have cataract surgery and lens implants which brought the great wide world back to me.  I can see fire hydrants and ducks from a long way away now!  Oh boy!  I love my new family too!  My new brother Rocky opened his home and his heart to me.  He plays with me and naps with me and protects me and gets in trouble with me too.

My new mommy and daddy take real good care of me.  My favorite thing is when mommy goes to the kitchen to make dinner.  I am sure to get some lettuce or a piece of broccoli if I follow her in there.  As for daddy, I love to pester him when he has strawberries!  They really taste good.  When he rubs my belly I fall fast asleep and snore with utter contentment.

Anyway, I just want you to keep up the good work.  CPR has been a blessing to me and my new family.

Sincerely,

Bunnie
