Rocky

rockyMy name is Rocky and I am a black Pug, one of the three rescued that were soaked in gasoline.  I was so sick with a severe upper respiratory infection, and was very anemic that they could not neuter me.

My foster parents came and picked me up.  At home I met two golden’s and a fawn pug named Jake.  After a few sniff’s we were brothers for life.  I had Dog food for the 1st time and I never saw a toy before.  I found that I was rewarded with treats not beaten.  There is even a dog bed in every room!

After Antibiotic’s, worming and vitamins my blood count came up enough to be neutered.  Then to my surprise they told me they were adopting me for good!  They love me and I love them.  I hope someone reads my happy ending story and Rescues one of my friends on the site that needs a good home like I got!

Meadow

meadowMeadow came home to us in March, 2009. We love her so much! Even though she sometimes sasses the other dogs, everyone is getting along. Meadow loves her special braided chew sticks that her new grandma bought her.

She also enjoys snuffling in her blanket, exploring her yard, and hanging out during TV time at night. Although she’s blind, she seems to enjoy comedies such as “The Office” and she cheers when there is a happy resolution on “Animal Cops.”

Managing her diabetes has not been a problem so far. Everyone should consider adopting a senior pug!

Phoenix

pheonixDear CPR,

I wanted to update you on our wonderful little pug Phoenix (aka-Feeny).
Phoenix entered our lives in August, thanks to you,we could not be happier!
He loves to play with his new best friend “Jack the Cat.”

He loves to cuddle and shower us with kisses. He loves to play and sleep with his “moo moo” a toy cow. His favorite thing to do is wake up daddy in the morning and climb under the covers to snuggle.

Phoenix is soooo happy to finally have a good home! He did have some training to socialize with other dogs and we are proud to say he graduated with flying colors!!!! Go Feeny!! Thanks again for our special pug and all that you do for furry friends everywhere!!!!

We are so grateful!

Lauren, Pat, and Feeny

Beauregard

beauregardDear Compassionate Pug Rescue,

Life couldn’t be any better for a pug. I’m living the life of a little prince. I have all the toys I could ever want and a big back yard to run around in. Barkely, my chocolate lab friend, and I are like two peas in a pod. Whatever big Barkley does, I tend to follow. We have so much fun together from sharing a milk bone to playing tug-of-war with Dad’s socks.

My training has improved tremendously. I am 99% potty trained, I can sit, and I learned a new trick. I give lots of high fives. Rather, high fours for me. I couldn’t be any happier.

I go to the groomers for nice, long baths and a sharp looking shave. I have all different outfits for various occasions. I even have a pretty collar with my name in rhinestones. Simply put, I’m a spoiled little pug and I love it.

Pugs and Kisses,

Beauregard
